PURPOSE IN THE PAIN Parents Fight To Find The Rainbow Through Storm Clouds

Robert and Rose Bronstein, the parents of Nate Bronstein, have filed a Second Amended Complaint (SAC) against the Latin School of Chicago (LSC) (IL) detailing additional particularized allegations of Latin School of Chicago’s failures in properly addressing Nate’s reports to the Latin School of cyberbullying by Latin School of Chicago students that led to his suicide.

The SAC maintains Latin School of Chicago intentionally minimized and re-categorized Nate’s report of bullying, failed to notify Nate’s parents, neglected to have a bullying prevention policy compliant with Illinois Law, and refused to provide Robert and Rose with Nate’s school records.

Latin School of Chicago’s refusal to remediate cyberbullying turned an avoidable tragedy into irreversible heartbreak that implicates Latin School of Chicago, the former Latin School of Chicago Headmaster/Current Rye Country Day (NY) Headmaster/Current NAIS Board Chair Randall Dunn, Current Latin School of Chicago Headmaster Thomas Hagerman, NAIS, and NAIS School Alumni.

The tell is always the refusal to cooperate in good faith and the cover-up. Cover-ups are as bad or worse than the crime itself because they show the perpetrators not only realize a crime occurred, but also understand their culpability.

An admission that Latin School of Chicago did not abide by state reporting laws while Randall Dunn, Board Chair of NAIS, was at the helm of the school would not only implicate Latin School of Chicago, it would also implicate the operations and agenda of the entire system of the National Association of Independent Schools.
