Chicago Mom Wants Principal Fired After Her Son Was Bullied and Unprotected by the School

For Chicago mom Rosellene Bronstein, school principal Randall Dunn should be fired from his job and never take up a top post in school because he did nothing to protect her son, Nate Bronstein, who died by suicide in January 2022 after he was relentlessly bullied in school.

Rosellene found out that Dunn is moving to another top private school, Rye Country Day School in Westchester, in the coming school year after serving as principal of the Latin School of Chicago since 2011. She warned the Westchester community, especially the parents, that Dunn “does not care about students” and should not be even holding a job as a school administrator, per the New York Post.

The Chicago mom who wanted the principal fired has lodged a $100 million lawsuit against Dune, other school officials, and some parents. She alleged that those involved were aware of the harassment Nate endured from the other kids, but they hid the incidents to “maintain their prestigious façade.” Latin School of Chicago is one of the city’s most expensive private schools.
